Hungry redfish and snapper!

 In Latest News

With the begging of fall now here comes cooler water and that means redfish! This is the beginning of the transition period where the redfish become more aggressive and the snapper fill the fish box. With cleaner water moving in this afternoon it didn’t take long for the trout and lady fish to fill into the flats. As the tide came in we made our way deeper into the bay and found the redfish along with schools of snapper. We used a chunk of lady fish that we had caught earlier and pulled out a nice redfish in no time! As we made our way down and noticed a couple egrets standing close by we threw a few live mojarra in the mangroves and caught another. We totaled with 3 redfish and plenty of snapper sandwiches!
